This project raised the roof of the dormer space over the garage and, with a series of additions, created a larger home with more bedrooms and a new kitchen.  The project put an addition on the back of the home that included a mudroom, laundry room and half bathroom and expanded the renovated kitchen at the first floor and created two bedrooms and a full bathroom at the second floor. The kitchen was expanded to incorporate an island and the eating area was expanded do to the relocation of the half bathroom.   It was important to the homeowners that the renovation would be sensitive to the existing house both on the exterior and the interior and blend well within the neighborhood.   Scale, proportion, style and details of the existing house were used to seamlessly integrate the new addition with the original home.
